Mr. Holman's Weekly Update to Parents 06/03/19

Dear Parents and Guardians:

It is very difficult for me to believe that we are entering our final few days of the school year!  Words cannot adequately describe how lucky I feel to be back in the Moscow School District as MMS principal.  Thank you all very much for your questions, support and patience as I have navigated this first year-cycle.  I have and will continue to learn right along with our staff and students, and will always work to make Moscow Middle the best place it can be for our kids.  I am already very excited to get next year rolling!  For those of you returning, I will be sending out some information later this week about our 2019-10 start and what you can expect to hear from us as we go through the summer.  Stay tuned!

Friday Fun Day and the Silverwood trip went off well by almost all measures.  We experienced a couple of hiccups and will work to remedy those for next time.  As always, please contact us if there is something you have a question about.

Monday and Tuesday are A days this week.  Wednesday's schedule is copied below for you to take a look at.  We will be celebrating the promotion of our 8th graders at a 10 am assembly on Wednesday and all of our grade levels will be in attendance to send them off.  We wish the new crop of Moscow Bears good fortune as they move on.  I have really enjoyed the 'vibe' of this group this year...what a great bunch of kids!

We are still looking for volunteers to help with the 8th Grade Awards Assembly/Dessert event.  Specifically, we could use more help with set up and clean up, as well as a few more food dessert items.  Please follow the following link if you are able to help in some way.  Thanks to all who have volunteered so far!
