Mr. Holman's Weekly Parent Update 1/27/19

Dear Parents and Guardians:

With so many people in, out and around Moscow Middle School every day, we process a large volume of Lost and Found items.  Larger items that are turned in end up on a table just down the hall from the front office, while small/dear/expensive items are kept in the office.  Please encourage your children to check lost and found if they are missing something. You are welcome to stop by and check it out periodically as well.  On that note, we picked up a manila envelope with a dental retainer in it after the basketball games Thursday evening.  It can be claimed in the office.  Thanks for your help, everyone!

PST Corner:

  • Can you organize a staff appreciation meal/event for MMS Staff?  We are looking for 1-2 parent volunteers would like to organize a Staff Appreciation event for teachers between now and May.  Our fall event around conferences featured a sign up page for families to bring dinner; our May event will be in conjunction with teacher appreciation day.  We would like one more event in the next couple of months and we leave it up to you to design something fun!  PST available to help advertise, coordinate, and recruit volunteers/food.  Contact Mary at if you are interested.
  • Mark your calendars for next month's Coffee with a Principal get together.  PST is switching up February's meeting to an informal coffee morning discussion with Principal Holman in One World Cafe's meeting room (533 S Main St. in Moscow), Thursday, February 14th from 7:30 AM to 8:15 AM.  Bring kids, come and go as you need with your morning schedule, but find some time to stop in to chat with parents and the principal and get your questions answered about MMS.

Have a great week!
