Mr. Holman's Weekly Parent Update 10/21/19

Dear Parents and Guardians:

We have several different things happening this week!  Some information and some reminders:

Our 8th graders are participating in the CORE program on either Wednesday or Thursday (with permission) so we have modified our schedule for this coming week:  Our modified schedule is:  B - C - A - A - D  this week, to best accommodate that activity.  Additional information about the CORE program can be found at this link:    Please contact us if you have additional questions.

We are wrapping up our fall seasons with home football vs. Pullman on Tuesday afternoon.  Boys basketball season for 7th and 8th graders begins Thursday, October 24.  Sixth grade boys basketball begins on Monday, Oct. 28.  If your child is interested in playing, please access RegisterMyAthlete to complete the registration process by Wednesday, Oct. 23 so that we can review the information and make sure that we have everything that we need.  The link to RegisterMyAthlete can be found on this page:

We are hosting an informational meeting for parents focusing on mastery learning and TeacherEase this coming Thursday at 6:30 pm in the Moscow High School Auditorium.

Moscow Education Foundation Spooky Spaghetti Feed, Wednesday, Oct. 23, 4:30 to 7:00 pm.  Please consider letting MEF do the cooking this Wednesday evening.  Please see the attached flyer for more information:  SPOOKY SPAGHETTI FEED 10.23.2019.docx

Upcoming Parent Conferences:  We have elected to conduct two evening conference sessions this year in an effort to provide access for as many families as possible.  The two dates are Tuesday, October 29 and Wednesday, October 30.  I will send a dedicated email tomorrow with more specific information about times and structure.

PST Corner:     We welcome all! You don't have to hold an office or attend meetings! We are looking for a Secretary and 7th and 8th grade parent representatives. Kids are welcome at meetings!  We will have a fun kid's activity table set up.   You could be a huge help and make a huge impact by making a dish, helping on a planning committee, running a table, or being a class representative. Our next meeting will be November 12th, at 5:30 p.m. in MMS Music Room.
