Mr. Holman's Weekly Parent Update 01/23/23
Dear Parents and Guardians:
MMS Winter Cheer kids again competed this past weekend, with terrific results: First place in Coed show, first place in Coed stunt, second place for sideline and second for Pom. Great job once again! The MMS Drama kids knocked it out of the park Thursday evening in their performance of 'Back to the Summer'. It sure is fun to see kids shine in extracurricular activities such as this one.
As we finish up the week, we will be on an A, B, C, D schedule Monday through Thursday, with an extra homeroom period at the end of the day Thursday. School will end at the usual 3:06 pm on Thursday as well, and the second homeroom will give students an additional period of time for makeup work, etc. For students who need yet more time to catch up, we are looking at possible invitations to come into school on Friday during the teacher workday. If necessary, we will have some extra staffing to assist students as they wrap a few things up. Please contact me if you have any questions about this, and thanks again for your support!

Sports Update: This week at a glance:
- Wrestling will practice from 3:20 until 5 pm in the Bear Den Monday through Wednesday this week, with a home match in the Bear Den on Thursday, 5 pm.
- 6th Girls Basketball will only practice Tuesday after school this week, due to multiple MHS and MMS events in the Bear Den.
- B Girls Basketball will practice Tuesday after school in the Bear Den. The teams who do not play Wednesday will not practice, and all B teams will practice at McDonald until 4:30 on Thursday.
- A Girls Basketball will practice from 3:30 until 5 pm at McDonald gym Monday and Wednesday. They play Sacajawea at home (MHS gym) Tuesday and are away at Clarkston on Thursday.
- Winter Cheer will practice from 3:20 to 4:30 this week on the days members are not cheering at home events.
