Indirect Student Services include:
- Attending Team Meetings: Example include: Remediation Meetings, RTI Meetings, 504 Meetings, and IEP Meetings.
- Consultation: Counselors consult with parents, teachers, administrators, and community agencies regarding strategies to help individual students.
- Student Achievement Data Analysis
- Referral: Counselors provide referral resources to deal with crises such as suicide, violence, abuse or suspected abuse, terminal illness, or grief. These resources may include the following:
- District crisis response team
- Community mental health agencies
- Private therapists and counselors or
- Local law enforcement agencies.
