Dear Parents and Guardians:
The new school year is fast approaching! As mentioned last week, we mailed the August informational letter to all families who were in our system as of last week. A few notes/updates and upcoming events:
Student Transportation/Bussing: If you plan to have your child ride a school bus this year or if you have any questions about student transportation, please contact the MSD Transportation Department directly at this number: (208) 882-3933 Please plan to make this contact soon so that they have ample time to get routes set up prior to the first day of school.
MMS Fall Sports Meeting, Wednesday, August 16, 6:00 p.m., Bear Den (Gym) - Please consult the attached newsletter for more information on fall sports at MMS. Wednesday's meeting will address Fall Cheer for 6-8 boys and girls, Cross Country for 6-8 boys and girls, Football for 7-8 boys and girls and Volleyball for 6-8 girls. You will have opportunity to meet the coaches and to ask questions. Reminder: Registration for sports at MMS takes place through Register My Athlete: Register My Athlete If you haven't already done so, you will need to create a login and provide information about the child who will be participating. To register for a sport, please first select Moscow High School and then scroll down to find the middle school sport of your choosing. Please remember that all participants need a valid sports physical, good for two years, from a qualified medical practitioner in order to be able to practice and play. MSD School Nutrition Program - Please see the attached newsletter for updated nutrition information and school breakfast and lunch prices.
